How is the PRP Procedure Performed?

Only the patient’s own blood is used for this procedure. PRP requires just a few milliliters of blood. The sample is centrifuged to concentrate the patient’s platelets in a small volume of plasma, then injected with a fine needle into the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands, or scalp. Skin recovery after the procedure takes 2 to 24 hours. We recommend 1–2 sessions per year. PRP is also strongly recommended for individuals aged 30 and over.
