The nose is the most prominent part of the face, so even a minor nasal deformity can significantly affect the overall appearance. It is the shape of the nose that determines whether the face will look symmetrical.
Nasal shape correction can refine overall facial features: the nose can be reduced, its shape changed, the nose–upper lip angle adjusted, the nostrils narrowed, the septum straightened, and the nose reconstructed. Changes in shape are visible immediately after surgery; however, the final aesthetic result is seen only once healing is complete. The nose’s shaping and correction process takes up to one year.
