Botulinum Injections

Botulinum toxin injections are intended to smooth facial and neck wrinkles and rejuvenate the face. Botulinum toxin injections are also used to treat excessive sweating, migraine headaches, and muscle spasms.

Procedure Steps

The procedure is performed during the consultation by injecting a small amount of botulinum toxin with a fine needle into the required area, relaxing the facial muscles and smoothing wrinkles.
The product also effectively blocks the activity of sweat glands and reduces sweating. The effect of botulinum toxin appears within a few days to a week, so you will not see results immediately.

Most commonly treated are forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. To treat excessive sweating, botulinum toxin is injected into the armpits, palms, or soles.

After the Procedure

A few hours after the procedure, patients can resume their usual physical activities or return to work. Sometimes, if the dose was too low, a repeat session is needed after one or two weeks. The effect of botulinum toxin injections lasts from 3 to 12 months. With repeated treatments, the effect should last longer; however, if you decide to stop, full muscle function will return.
